Jason Penrose, 39 years old, sent more than 1000 emails per month to the star and attempted to break into her house.
Claire Foy, the actress who portrayed Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown’s TV sequel, was confronted by a stalker
According to BBC, Penrose was a producer and film director who wanted the actress in his film.
He allegedly called his sister and the agent of the actor, learned about her location, and continued to ring her doorbell. Claire Foy called police.
Court is currently holding a hearing regarding the prohibition on stalking. Perhaps the man has been identified as mentally ill.
Penrose was not allowed to communicate with Penrose’s sister or agent.
Matt has applied to a full SPO. This prohibits any suspect stickers from contacting or approaching victims in a criminal investigation.
The hearing was originally scheduled for July 22, but the interim SPO was extended until July 28. Violations can result in criminal prosecution.
Magistrate Clive Jenkin instructed Mr. Penrose not talk to Ms. Foy, her relatives, or her agent.
Imelda Staunton, an English actress, announced in a previous post that she will play Queen Elizabeth II. She did this via a video message posted on Netflix’s YouTube channel.
The artist stated that the premiere was scheduled for November 2022.
Remember that production on the penultimate and fifth seasons of The Crown began in July. The series will also feature Imelda Stone as Jonathan Pryce (Prince Philip), Lesley Manville, Dominic West (Prince Charles), Elizabeth Debicki and Dominic West (Prince Charles).
Debicki will replace Emma Corrin, Josh O’Connor, and West respectively in these roles. Both of them received Emmy nominations this year for Outstanding Lead Actor/Lead Actress in Drama.
You may recall that Imelda Staunton plays Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce plays Prince Philip, Leslie Manville plays Princess Margaret, and Jonny Le Miller will play John Major in Season 5.
