Golden Jubilee Fall Tour 2022: Judas Priest, a British heavy metal band, has announced that they will be touring America as part of their golden Jubilee celebration tour, which began on May 31, 2022 from Europe.
In early 1974, the band made their first European tour.
About the The heavy metal band
They formed the band in 1974, and they made their first European tour that year. They signed a record contract in April after they returned to Europe.
They became very popular following the release of Sin After Sin in January 1977. Judas Priest was founded in Birmingham, England. This was before heavy metal was a popular musical genre.
Judas Priest, a Grammy-winning heavy metal band, was founded in Birmingham in 1969. Their 1980 album British Steel was a commercial success.
The band’s best-selling album, “Screaming for Vengeance”, was released in 1982. The band’s attire, which included leather, spikes and other taboo accessories, was very popular during the glam rock era of the 1980s.
The current lineup includes Rob Halford, Richie Faulkner and Glenn Tipton, as well as Scott Travis, drummer, and bassist Ian Hill. Hill and Tipton are the only members of the band to appear on every album, despite the band’s ever-changing lineup.
The band’s music has been influenced by many other heavy metal bands thanks to Halford’s operatic vocals and the twin guitar talents of Downing and Tipton.
Judas Priest was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
