Chris Hemsworth doesn’t want to play Thor in Marvel Cinematic Universe
In Phase 4, new characters are revealed in the MARVEL Cinematic Universe. One superhero has been with the MARVEL Cinematic Universe since its inception and continues to flourish in this fictional world.
We are talking about Thor Odinson, the god of thunder played by Chris Hemsworth.
He remains the MCU’s only superhero to oversee a fourth solo film, Thor: Love and Thunder. But, the actor has made clear that he knows when Thor is ready to be retired.
Marvel fans had the opportunity to meet Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, in the 2011 movie.
The first solo appearance of The God of Thunder introduced Marvel’s mythological side to audiences and launched the events of The Avengers which premiered in 2012.
Hemsworth appeared in seven MCU films. Thor: Love and Thunder is his eighth film. Thor was a man who suffered love and loss. He also saved the world numerous times.
He is without doubt one of the greatest Avengers and most beloved characters in Marvel Cinematic Universe. We hope Chris Hemsworth will continue to play Thor for many years to come.
Chris Hemsworth talked to Total Film about Thor: Love and Thunder and his future after the film’s release.
“Whenever I have the chance, I’m open for any creative quests from other writers, directors, or so.
This character is my favorite. It comes down to the question, is this situation any different than the previous? Are we repeating the same thing? When things become too routine, I suppose that’s when you have to make a decision. “I would like to leave before people tell it to,” the actor stated.
