Next James Bond: Tom Holland's 007 chances laid bare after Spider-Man contract end

The next James Bond candidates could face a difficult battle to face because Tom Holland's chances of being the next "007" has been revealed.

The former Spider-Man actor is competing to the competition of Tom Hardy and Idris Elba.

Although the official announcement is likely to occur within the next few years however, several huge British actors are currently on the list of Bond odds.

While the likes of Tom Hardy and Rege-Jean Page are among the top of choices, Tom Holland - who plays on Spies in Disguise, which airs at 3:5pm at 3:$5pm on Channel 4 today - has just stepped up to his role.

Holland has turned into an immense Hollywood celebrity since his debut on the mainstream scene with Marvel's Spider-Man the series.

He first appeared as a character Captain America: Civil War before he had an entire trilogy of his own.

It ended by releasing No Way Home, which was released in cinemas at the close of 2021. 

However, after the third installment in his trilogy, Holland revealed his contract with Marvel to play Spider-Man had come at an end.

He stated in the moment "[No Way Home] would be my last one. So, I've always said to them if they want me back I'll be there in a heartbeat."

He continued: "If they want me back I'll be there, if they don't I will walk off into the sunset a very, very happy person because it's been an amazing journey."
